My Current Skincare Routine

Over the last few months my skin has changed so much that pretty much use all new products and in honor of me getting my skincare routine on point I wanted to share what I love using at the moment (and for the foreseeable future).

I used to think my skin was invincible but as I’ve grown up my skin has grown quite sensitive. I still love trying out new products but these are the go-tos to help me refine and refresh my skin if it needs a pick me up.

Recently I splurged a little at Sephora, ok a lot, but hey I had just gotten paid! I had been wanting to try a few products that were being raved about on Instagram and now I know why! So sorry that these are quite pricey but they are absolutely worth it.

Without further ado, here is my current skin care routine!

Morning: I shower every morning and I don’t wash my face with a cleanser I just get a small, damp fluffy towel and wipe away my moisturizer as I’m finishing in the shower.

Next, I use a toner, I’m currently using the Olay Cleanse Toner with Witch Hazel. I’ve used the Garnier Micellar Water for this step too, and it works just as good, even though it’t not a toner.

After toner I use a serum, this one I got in a sample kit in the Sephora check out line, the Belif Hungarian Water Essence. It helps recharge hydration and as someone who has pretty dry skin this is really helpful.
For moisturizer I use the IG Cult Fave Jet Lag Mask by Summer Fridays. It has a following because it’s just that amazing. I love the feel of it and it goes on so smooth and lightweight and adds instant glow and it’s just amazing. Definitely check it out!
For sunscreen I’m currently using the Bare Republic Mineral Sunscreen. It is more watery but because it’s thinner it sinks into the skin better and layers nicely under makeup, definitely recommend this one.

That’s it for morning skincare, next I apply my makeup.

Night: My first step at night is makeup removal. I always use my Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. I melt it in my hands and massage it in to my skin and wipe it away with a damp fluffy towel as I do in the mornings.
If I’m lazy I use it after a Kirkland Signature Micellar Daily Facial Cleansing Towelette but sometimes just the balm. Next, I do a mask or treatment. I alternate between the Summer Fridays Overtime Mask and the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel Pads.

After either mask I can do one of two things: call it a night and go to my last step or if I really need/want extra hydration I use the Summer Fridays R+R Mask.

Then to finish off I tone and use my serum again, use my Jet Lag Mask and under my eyes I use the Clarins Extra Firming Eye Cream.

If you’re skeptical about the Summer Friday masks don’t be, they are amazing, smell delicious, feel great and they work. My skin was rough and red and bumpy a few weeks ago after testing out products that didn’t work for me but Overtime has rejuvenated my skin and R+R feels so amazing and nourishing. Jet Lag is the perfect moisturizer and I use it all day everyday.

I hope you guys liked this insight into my skincare routine and I hope you find a few new products to check out, thanks for reading!
